FCT ICDA: Area Councils Submit Nominees For Executive Positions
The area councils of the Federal Capital Territory including Madala, Niger State and Karu, Nasarawa state has submitted list of nominees for the executive positions of Igala Cultural Development Association, (ICDA). Saturday.
The nomination was part of the restructuring and repositioning process of the apex igala body in the federal capital territory.
In his opening remark, the north-central coordinator, Prince Musa Oruma reiterates the importance of the meeting and why it is also important to restructure the ICDA in the FCT.
Prince Oruma said that, “We call here today so that we can fast-track the process of restructuring ICDA in the FCT.
“There are a lot of programs we want to embark on but because there is problem with the structure of the current ICDA, we are estopped.
“That is why we said that each and every area council should forward three nominee that would eventually form the executives of the ICDA, FCT.
“The ICDA, FCT is very important and the national president is also interested in it, that Igala in the FCT be united, so you are all welcome.”, Prince Oruma continued.
In attendance were, Chief of Kuje, HRH Alhaji Hassan Khalid, Chief of Madala, Chief Isah Ibrahim Daikwo , Treasurer, ICDA AMAC, Alhassan Shehu, ex-chairman, ICDA Central, Enejoh Attah, Chairman, ICDA, AMAC, Comrade Ebiojo Muhammed, Comrade Tijani Yakubu.
Others were chairmen and representatives from all the area councils, including Madala and Karu, in Niger and Nasarawa State respectively.
